Join landmarks around the world, from New York to California, from Canada to China, in lighting up teal on November 7, 2019 to help the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America raise awareness and support for all those living with Alzheimer’s disease during Alzheimer’s Awareness Month!

Alzheimer's & Dementia Services of Memphis, Inc., needs your help to Light The Bridges Up in Teal for Alzheimer's Awareness Day, November 7, 2019. ADS wants to raise the cost of lighting the bridge for 1 day of $500. Help ADS by donating to this page and let's light the bridges up!

Why teal? Teal is the International color of Alzheimer's disease.

Why November? The month of November is Alzheimer's Awareness Month.

By going Teal, the day highlights the issue of Alzheimer's and the need to continue doing more for the 5 million Americans currently living with it and for the families that are caring for them.

Alzheimer's and other related dementias like stroke dementia affect over 120,000 people in Tennessee. In Tennessee, also, Alzheimer's is the 4th leading cause of death in America. Help us bring awareness to this disease and the impact on families by lighting the bridges in teal on November 7, 2019.
